A recording saying it was the IRS and there is a lawsuit filed against me. I called back questioning if this was legitimate and why I did not receive a letter. I was given a claim number & told there were 5 years of discrepancies between what I filed and what went through my accounts. When I started laughing he hung up!
I got three voicemails today. Same robot female voice. Same thing everyone is saying. IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. Call back immediately. I know it's a scam. But I had my dad listen to the voicemail & he agreed. He's seriously pissed that a person (whoever is behind this thing) would prey on gullible people & he's proud of me for not buying it. I'm 36, still live with my dad by choice & have a physical disability. These "companies" or whoever they are prey on people just like me, but my Daddy raised me right!
I had two messages waiting for me when I got home today. I'm glad all you other people posted your experience. I was pretty sure it was a scam, but you all assured me that I was right. Can't that number be traced to the scammer and get them shut down?
