Both my wife and I got a call from this number within minutes of each other tonight. Neither of us answered as both our phones showed the call as originating in Ontario, and we don't know anyone in Canada. No message was left for either of us. We live in Mount Isa, QLD.
Received multiple call attempts. Didn't answer since Unknown number from Canada. My Ph records 3 call attempts but never any message, some from a month ago (so they're persistent).
Internet search on ph number & Ontario Canada provides repeat references to scam, pushy Asian lady, or male with thick accent selling stock market training, or wanting people to access their computers whilst on ph with them, or wanting personal FB info, etc.
Very Dodgy - Do NOT give them your details or any personal information.
Some sites offer an app offering to block unwanted calls from international
Callers. I wouldn't download!
If concerned, call Police & report issue.
