Also had a call from this number today, around the same time as others. I called back, and it rang for 90 seconds. No one picked up, and no v/m message. Please tell me ... why do they waste their money setting up these dead end schemes, and why do they waste our time!?!
This number kept calling my house, not leaving a message. I finally picked up the phone to only find dead air. Once I hung up, the calls continued non-stop. Once it stops ringing it starts again. This number originates from Ontario.
This phone number 647-247-1746 calls our business phoneline. We do get an automated message asking us to press 1 to take a political survey and win a free trip. The message also gives the option to press 9 to decline the survey and be removed from the call list...every time I press 9 it's like it doesn't accept it (surprise!). I'm guessing for the other people on this board that don't hear the message, that their system is not registering you pick up and not switching over to play the message....so on top of being annoying their system appears to be broken as well!
To add to the fray, there is another number which calls and plays the exact same message as well (as if 1 annoying auto call wasn't enough!) It's never going to end ever...*sighs*
