Scammers called from this number, knew about credit card, payments, etc. Talked about $995 to help reduce interest rate. Cancelled credit card so no new charges could go through. Please be ware
This number called my landline, they were offering for $595 a APR rate of 0.99%. the callers NAME is David Bryan with an employee id #DB365 and is at ext 8027
I too fell for a scam this morning and gave permission for a David Brian, and a Simon, at phone # 647 496 8331 to bill one of my MC's for $4500.00 supposedly so that I would receive a life time interest rate of 0.99 % on all my credit cards. (I'm going through major remodelling so I'm maxed out on my credit cards). He said that the money I saved by the low interest rate would be used to pay off the $4500.00 so it would cost me nothing. I phoned the Credit Card company and they said I had been billed by a Fan Booking Travel Agency in Mexico for $5100.00! Naturally my card is cancelled and I'm not charged. One of my B&B guests mentioned that he'd check it out and came up with, 800notes.com and many others who were approached with the same scam.
The only reason I believed David at all was that he had ALL my banking information - all my credit card numbers, all my banking transactions including yesterday's business. He read them all to me just as if he was at the bank reading my file. I have never lost my credit cards or given them to anyone else to use. Bewildered was and is my reaction. After I've checked this all out, Anthony from the same scam group has the audacity to phone me, but I told him I knew it was a scam and would have no part of it.
I'm reporting this to the police immediately. Take care to the trusting, naive, and gullible
