Had my info told him sounds to good to be true let me think about it and he would not take no he said he charged my account i said i agreed to nothing so he can credit it i hung up he kept calling back i didnt answer
Received a phone call today from "Alex Cormier" who said the name of the company was "Card States" and that he could lower my interest rates on all of my credit cards. I asked him for a call back number and he gave me 647-496-8331. When he continuously asked for personal information, I asked to speak to his manager. He said that he would transfer me as soon as I answered his questions. I said I would not answer his questions until I spoke with his manger. He was laughing at me and told me to drink some water and calm down. He transferred me to his manager "David Bryan." I asked Mr. Bryan for the call back number, and, as he gave it to me, I looked it up on Google. I told him I was not interested because I was seeing complaints associated with his phone number. He became very angry and belligerent, telling me that I did not know what I was doing and that he was only trying to lower my credit cards interest rate. I asked him if there was fee for doing that and he told me there was a one-time fee to lower the rates on all my credit cards. I told him I was not interested. He attempted to argue with me; I told him that I was not interested and that, if I see a charge on my cards that I did not authorize, I would file charges against him. Then I hung up and did a reverse look up on the phone number. The information I received was the company's name as "Iristel, Inc." and it is located in Toronto, Canada. He had told me he was calling from Phoenix, Arizona. I immediately called my credit card companies, gave them all of this information, then cancelled my cards.
