I was out but when I got home I checked to see who might have called. I Googled this 647-497-7874 and was able to read your posts. The "gimme calls" (as I call them) are turning people off. I have a number I give to annually - like most people, I can only handle so many.
I answered this phone call and the gal identified herself as canvassing for Heart and Stroke. Would I be interested in signing up for monthly donations through automated bank withdrawal? Really???
We got the same phone call today--they asked for my husband by name--she said she was calling from Heart and Stroke--I didn't give her a chance to say her spiel but am sure they don't canvass by phone from Heart and Stroke--I told her to call back tomorrow--I doubt that she'll call again.
