Called two days in a row asking for the person in charge of our merchant account (credit card machine). In both cases, I've explained that we don't have a point-of-sale terminal on premises, all transactions are done over the phone. Each time, they responded: "sorry to bother you then" and hang up. Obviously they don't make a note of that fact in their system or they wouldn't keep calling me.
telemarketer looking to speak to whomever is in charge of the business merchant account. They were told that they had reached a residential address not a business, and were then not interested in chatting any more. A plague on their houses....hate these kinds of calls.
