We get the same in Canada with US numbers so they can circumvent the do not call list - that list was another total waste of taxpayer monies in both our countries because the telemarketers figure it out. At my office we probably get up to 15 telemarketing calls a day but we ignore them at home they are starting to diminish.
We have been getting calls from 416-947-0000 for about 2 years now. The one time I actually answered and had someone respond on the other end, I firmly told him to remove my number from the call list. Fat lot of good that did. The calls stopped for a couple of months, but have started again.
Got a call this afternoon. No one there. I've gotten callse from multiple numbers this week. They all check as telemarketers. This is my cell, it's getting anoying.
