CIBC has one of the worst privacy and data protection records going. Remember the faxing of sin numbers to a scrap yard in the USA, which they refused to stop. They claim their systems are secure. But literally within 12 hours of my opening a cibc visa account I started getting spam from fraud artists. CIBC itself sends out texts saying " its an important message for Mr XYZ if this is you >>" they are so lax with security and privacy. Now some scam artist is mimicking them- Its about time Bank Superintendent dragged the execs in and told them to smarten up or they would face criminal prosecution -PERSONALLY. CIBC has no respect for security nor privacy
