called my cell at 7:00,called two three times this past month or so. left no message

Called on Sunday, June 3rd.  at 7:45 p.m. No answer and no mesage.  Called my husband's number too.

got a call at 8:12 on Sunday night on my cellphone.  Did not answer and they did not leave a message.  Don't know anyone in areacode 650

Left no message on cell phone, from unknown source, suspect some kind of scam call, maybe with a huge cost incurred if called back. Deleted number from phone, did not call back. From someplace in San Mateo I didn't recognize. Land line.
