Hello Dinah
Did you by any chance get an e-mail in response to a resume that you submitted for a job? And this was the phone number at the bottom of the e-mail?
I received the exact email as Brandi.....and if I didn't send in the credit score, "Isabella Rice" from "Pruman LLC" said she would have to call their "second choice"......after all, I was more qualified than the "19 other applicants".
I believe this to be an absolute scam. I've received several recently. All from different people and different companies but all asking for a credit report. I've never in 30 years heard of a company needing a credit report. And.....any company that DOES need a credit report will do so AFTER the interview and they would obtain the credit report on their own (with your permission, of course). My friend has worked for a company making CASH deposits (let alone a "company credit card") for them (thousands of dollars at a time) and did not require a credit report.
Just received the exact email!! Mine came from AmyWilson @ Pruman LLC.Com...People please check Everything out DO NOT GIVE PERSONAL INFO TO THESE SCUM BAGS!!!!
I got the same email from "Diana Palmer Human Resources Division". This entre shing dig is a scam! I am so glad I read this post. I tried to google them company as well, and found this. This scammers are getting better and better. That email looked great!! I truly feel sorry for anyone else that doesnt find this, and actually submits their information. I really do.
I just received the same email as Brandi. I'd found the job posting on Craigslist for my area in Indiana, but the website listed wasn't a legitimate site, and the number was an unlisted number in California. This is definitely a scam.
