I received an automated call showing a local California number +19096963887. I answered it and it was automated telling me that as of today July 7 at 5 p.m. there main priority would no longer be contacting me for resolution. It would advance outside there office. Stated I needed to call back at (218)206-8583. The automated call did not say what it was about, or who it was calling. I am so tired of this [***]! Calls like these are typically about a payday loan that I may or may not of taken out. But, when I talk to them they always give different y dates of when this happened and always a wrong bank acct. When I ask who I took this loan out from they seem to NEVER be able to tell me. I have a friend who works for the FBI in a special unit dealing with this kind of [***]. I always contact him and he always tells me to demand a letter in the mail stating I owe this. Not by email or any other way. Then tell them that I need there address cuz I will send payment cuz I don't have a checking acct. They will NEVER give a mailing address. So anyway, this is what my friend in the FBI has told me to say. When I say it they end up hanging up on me. I will be onrey and call them back. They will answer but not talk to me, then hang up. I will call again and this time they will just let it ring and ring. Then I don't hear anything for months and then it starts over! HATE THESE PEOPLE SO MUCH! MOST OF US ARE SMART ENOUGH TO GIVE NO INFORMATION BUT THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE THAT GET SCARED AND DO EXACTLY WHAT THESE [***] WANT. JUST DON'T GIVE IN TO THEM PLEASE.
