I received this exact call, Susan Fitz with legalese sounding babble regarding ssi.. for an old user of my number..who is not me.. Luckily I captured this as a very long voice-mail and will be turning this over to law enforcement, the return call wants it to be placed at 6125647473, which is also a known scam number...
I received a voice mail from this number earlier today. Sounded like a pre-recorded message but did have my name in it. Said if this wasn't Holly...then hang up now. Also said the federal law stuff others mentioned. Never stated their name or business. I hate this stuff!!
I actually got a voicemail from this woman asking for my uncle. I have no idea how she got his name and my number. The message said that if I wasn't (my uncle) I should hang up but I listened to the message anyway. It sounded like a legal issue so I called the number back in order to figure out who they were before giving them info on how to reach my uncle. The woman refused to tell me anything about the company she worked for, took quite some time to even answer the phone in the first place, and just kept trying to pry info out of me. She tried to stonewall me saying that she couldn't give out information about the company (even the name) because it's a legal issue. Google gave me this from searching the number. No legal firm would ever not give you the name of the firm and they certainly wouldn't get the phone number wrong like that if it came from an official police matter. Give this woman NOTHING.
I received the same call today...on my cell and my work phone and my daughter also received a call. I called them back and they said they were given 10 numbers to try and get in touch with me. I told him to take those numbers off his list. He said he couldn't and hung up. My daughter called them back and said if he calls her or her mom again that she would turn his [***] into the cops. He said, you go right ahead, I'll wait on the phone while you do. She said she googled the number and it's a scam. Then he hung up on her. Jerks!
I received call today. Very long, absolute [***] message about resolving a debt. Her name was Susan. Of course it is another one of millions of scammers these days
