He emailed me too an told me he was out of town and couldnt show thr house. He said i can drive by the house to check it out. He sent me the application through email an told me to email it back to him. His said his name was Kenny L Rhenery.
My wife and I have been looking for a rental unit in San Diego County, when my wife found a property in Escondido. It was listed for $1200 a month rent, which for this area is extremely cheap. I checked the same property on Zillow, It is for rent but through a brokerage company and at $2400 per month, which is in line with current rental pricing for the area. My wife received an email from a "John F. Weaver" from an email address that refers to a non-existent company. Like others have reported, the "owner" of the property was called back to Minnesota for a family emergency so no walk-through could be done but we could "drive by and look in the windows". The email my wife received was full of typos and grammatical errors. This is very obviously a scam and I will be notifying the real broker of the issue with this scammer. The phone # provided was 651-400-0137.
Caleb Liu is renting a house in Corona. Found the same house on another site for a higher amount. He is out of town in minastoa for business. He does pop up as a owner of the property. Seems to be a scam.
