Wow im not the only one who got this txt these guys are from california and im rather curious how they got my number. However i would like it to stop since ive just received another one while writing this message
I have rcd this spam text from three different originating numbers from different states over a three day period, but the same web address. Probably a combination of random number generation + text message from an email application (this is free to the sender!) + number spoofing. I have sent complaint simultaneously to FTC/FCC, State Attorney General as well as my local large market newspaper consumer editor. I'm in Ohio where Payday loans are illegal and these are attempts to circumvent the law.
