Today(Aug 3, 2011), I received a call from this number. However, when i attempted to call the number back, their machine comes on and will not let you proceed if you are not calling from a "subscriber number"as it is called. What is so wrong in this country where you can't even have peace of mind on a d*** cell phone. I am so sick of being solicited by unwarranted callers!!!! The cell phone providers sell your information to these people, then turn around and tell you that it is not happening.
Got a call at 1:55 pm today. Caller ID said call was from "Home Scrty WWCA" the number shown was 786-358-5674. I called back from my cell, with my number blocked, and was told that "WCA Subscriber Services" could not take calls from a blocked number. When they called, my answering machine was turned off - and I am going to leave it that way for quite a while - maybe they will quite calling if their calls are NEVER answered by either a person or a machine.
They're a US based company who obviously don't give a hoot about the CANADIAN "do not call registry". If you subscribe to call blocking you can use that - but will have to be applied to every single number they call from. I'd suggest calling the Firebrand phone number and keep on leaving irate message after irate message until these jerks get the message loud and clear that if we're on a "do not call" registry, then their calls are unwelcome ALWAYS.
Its the one true way of knowing that I will never, ever do business with a company that is so ignorant.
