Got the same. Also have one from 806-397-6288. Received through my Google voice number, which is where I think they got the name from. Guess I need to change my privacy settings, too bad.

I got the same message all of you did. Then I asked a second time who it was then they said my iPhone is dying. Don't like this kinda crap.

I also received a text saying "hey Lauren" from the number 219-205-3164 (Indiana area code). I asked who it was and they replied "Do ya use Y! chat? cuz msg me my username is txtiechikie0." I asked again who it was and they sent me a text, "Ohh no !! mi fone s goin to die !!!" After looking up the number I found that its a VoIP, so I replied, "how convenient. Interesting that you're using a Voice over IP number, which means you're not on a mobile phone." Who the eff is doing this!? It's annoying [***]!
