Just called and hung up, I didn't answer and never do if I don't know who the caller is.
David, please don't take this out on the FCC as they are as frustrated by these callers as we are. Besides, this isn't a political soapbox here, it's a place to report problem callers.
This is a robo-call that responds to your voice. The call came to my business cell phone, so I answered thinking it might be a co-worker. It says that it's "customer service" thanking me from being a great customer. That's when I realized it was a computer. Blocked the number, but as some of you said I've probably tipped these idiots that the number is valid.
Just got a call from this number on my cell phone. I answered, thinking it was one of my neighbors who had called me a little while earlier. There was no one on the other side and all I heard was static. I said "hello" twice before hanging up. I immediately blocked the number after reading the posts here.
I have a Uniden D3280-2 Cordless Phone which has a number block feature. It's limited, but these companies change numbers constantly so you can go in and delete them and add more. It does help to block them so the phone only rings once at most before cutting them off. They get the message quickly and move on to their next victim
10/20/15 7:45 at night got a call, did not answer. Don't know who it was they did not leave a message. Very few people have my number so am always suspicious as to How they got it!
