This unknown number called from outside my county on Wed. 11/4/15 at 3:21 PM. It was the second time they called, about 2.5 weeks after the first time. I didn't answer and they did not leave a message. Based on entries here, I will mark this number as a telemarketer and have it sent directly to voice mail.
Now who could this be? Could it possibly be a spoofed call ID number intending to scam, commit fraud, identity theft, extortion or harass? I think so, since I have been getting multiple calls every day by clever opportunists intending to utilize the phone system to do their dirty deeds these days. Don't answer! BLOCKED!
Congrats - you just won a trip to the Bahamas. The voice was [deliberately] scratchy.
Unfortunately I pressed 9 and was told my number would be removed when in fact I just confirmed they reached a valid number. Too bad the government won't do anything about it...
Called again - blocked forever! Our phones do not ring when a blocked call comes in.
