Recorded message saying a loved one had given my name and number to get help for a drug or alcohol addiction. I hung up at that point. I don't have any addictions, and I'm certain none of my loved ones gave out my name and number. Spam call.
Received this suspicious nuisance call and checked on the Internet, only to find that quite a few other people received the same telemarketing call from this number. I hope that by blocking these crooks I will be spared repeat calls, even though one user pointed out that these charlatans often simply generate new numbers from which to harass people, usually offering some shady deal, like free cruises and fantastic financial investments. Eternal diarrhea to all of them, as my mother used to say. :)
