Windows asking me to log into my pc and give them info. I asked them a series of questions. I wanted to know what his favorite color was, did he prefer sandwiches for lunch or salads, was he a cat or dog person, does he like funny movies or serious ones. Jerk wouldn't answer me! He gave the phone to his boss and I asked him the same questions. They finally hung up. I had him on the phone for 8 minutes!!! New record for me!
Claimed they were from Windows - my computer needed updates - Assured me they would not take control of my computer and there would be no charges. Then I was transferred to another guy who had me go to www.microtechs.weebly.com and save it to my desktop. Now he is telling me he is going to transfer me to their technician, they WOULD need access to my computer and there WOULD be charges based on what they needed to do for the updates. I told them NO several times and finally hung up the phone and blocked this caller. Now somehow there is a charge to my credit card for $88.00 that is pending and I need to call them back about that. The description said "Server Tech Computer Maintenance Services".
called me three times through out the day! my answering machine handled all the calls! no messages just hangups! my answering machine handles all those bunk calls! if you dont recognize the number let an answering machine handle it!
