Got a call from "Windows Server Tech Support" they said my computer was generating errors to the "main server" They tried to get me to go to a sight that would give them interactive access to my computer in order to fix the "errors". Fortunately, I have a smart brother, who I called on my other line. He confirmed my ???? & I didn't complete the access process. Please be careful !!!!!!!!!
I received call from female that asked for me by my full name. She stated that my computer had generated errors on "the server". I asked her who she was. She replied that she was from windows Server support and that she would help me fix the problem. I asked for the name of her company again. She hung up and told me to see a doctor. Immediately after she hung up, I received a call from someone in another state . The caller said that someone from my phone number had called him offering computer support.
Made the mistake of picking up the phone when it rang. Woman came on the line and said she was calling from Windows and wanted to help me fix my computer which was sending them error reports. She asked if I was on my computer. When I said "No," she said she would stay on the line while I got on my computer so she could help me fix it. I told her "No thank you," and she said "Bye" and hung up.
