Alexis tried calling my girlfriend and tried telling her that she owed her money from credit card dept. I am looking forward to chewing Ms. Alexis out. On her voicemail, she says, "This is Alexis, please leave me your account # and your name, and I'll return your call." Do you really need an account # to call someone back? Did she mean, "Leave your phone #?" This lady is a joke and won't answer my calls. I work in an office and get chewed out daily by our clients and the manufactures we have to deal with, Alexis sounds like a "wannabe." I look forward to chewing her A** out!
I would like to thank you all for sharing your experiences about Alexis. It saved my life. I had a call from this crazy woman. she told me that if I give her $2000 she will write off all the rest of the balance of the credit card debt that I had since 1998. She also threatening me to with Criminal charges. As you all know, people do not do time in jail because of Credit card debt unless they used someone Else's credit card because they stole it. As you all very well know, once you give these people money, it starts the whole ball rolling again on owing. It is like having these debt come alive from the beginning. I received a frantic call from my manager at work telling me I had to call Alexis Cruz back or the sheriffs department would show up at work to serve me.The number given is (657) 859-4703.Alexis said she worked for Crescent Jewelers and was trying to collect on a debt.Originally she said my debt is $7,000.00 but I could settle out of court for $1,000.00.I told her I was behind on my rent and had $20.00 to my name.She asked if I had an offer to make.I said I could pay the $1,000.00 off in monthly payments. She refused monthly payments.Said she would rather get monthly payments through wage garnishment.She then suggested that I could make a lump payment of $500.00.Told her I didn't have $500.00 to give.She told me I would have to pay through wage garnishment.Then I called Crescent Jewelers to try to negotiate a settlement and they claimed my account was closed years ago and are not trying to recover the money.Mmmm a little fishy? . . . I then called Alexis Cruz and confronted her, she said she didn't work for Crescent Jewelers that she works for another company that bought the debt.Called Las Vegas civil department to see if I am scheduled to be served with paperwork and I am not.I called to ask for an address and she refused and hung up on me several times.She finally gave me an address p.o. box 836 Tostin Ca 92780.I could hear someone in the backround coaching her as to what to say to me.I think Alexis steals social security numbers and runs credit reports.She claims to work for creditor so that you make a payment to her and runs with your money.That is why she uses scare tactics and wants to settle for any lump amount. She does not want to take payments because she is a scam! NO LEGITIMATE debt collector will call your work or harass/threaten you.Oh yeah she claimed to work for a company named LCS. I filed a complaint against her online with the better business bereau (BBB) and the Federal Trade Comission (FTC). Printed out copies of these posts and gave to my boss so he knows not to fall for her scam in case she sends fake paperwork.Going to file a police report at police station against her.Needs to be done at your local police station because we don't know her physical address.If this happens or is happening to you ask for as much information from her as possible. Stay calm.Get her address, company. If you need to act like you are going to make a payment to get her info thats fine. Say yo don't have a credit card or bank account. Tell her you will mail her a money order and that is the only way you will send it. Once you get that address file reports using the address.File reports against any name that comes up on your caller id too. Good Luck.With everyone's cooperation we can stop her and her goons.

After doing a lot of research I found out that she works for a company called Western Performance Group; 13681 Newport Avenue Tustin, CA 92780 (877)-523-3986. If these people; harassing you refuse to give you information it is because they know what they are doing is illegal and don't want you to file a complaint against them. If by any chance you were served with papers call 311 and ask for a number to verify if the papers you were served with were real. They will give you the phone number to a civil services department. Some of the summons papers are FAKE!! They use scare tactics in order to get you to pay. Notice they don't want to take payments? They want a lump sum. They tried that with me. They're frauds. DO NOT PAY THEM ANYTHING! They can't legally collect a debt and they won't file a lawsuit . I repeat THEY WILL NOT FILE A LAWSUIT AGAINST YOU.
Some tips:
1. If they leave a voicemail, don't respond. They'll think you're a dead end and move on.
2. If you accidentally answer, demand that they validate the debt. Google the term.
3. If they claim that a sheriff is trying to serve you, they're lying.

They're based in OC. That's where they would file a lawsuit. If they claim that you are going to be served, then see if there is a case pending against you. There won't be. Without a complaint filed, there is nothing to serve you papers about.
Their hope is that the threat being served will make someone panic and then try to settle asap to avoid the headache. Don't lose your cool. Alexis Cruz is a big dope. Just stay calm and call their bluff. It's easy.
