was getting harassed with text messages from [email protected] at all hours, finally contacted them to make them stop, almost immediately got a call from this number, so the mocospace scum must have sold my number.
Call from 660-268-5987 says "Missouri" on my Caller I.D. Anyway, I don't answer calls if I don't recognize the number. By doing so you only encourage them to keep calling because they know they got a "live one". Then they sell your number to other scammers as a live number and so on. That's why we get so many of these bogus calls. By the way, I put all the numbers that show up in my contacts list and name them "Bogus01….02….03…, etc. so I'll know next time they call. I think I'm up to Bogus92 so far.
Called again today; at least the third call from them. Blocked after the first time. CID said "BROADBAND CNSLT" the first two times; Today it says "MISSOURI."
This call was 'sandwiched in between' TWO calls from 877-366-1489 which so far has called us TWENTY-TWO TIMES since 4/30/15. They claim to be "E-TELEQUOTE" and claim we 'visited their website for Medicare Supplemental Insurance and requested their call.' TOTALLY FALSE. We did NEITHER.
Suspect these two numbers are coming from the SAME CRIMINAL SOURCE.
