This is a Heating & Air company. The guy was an absolute jerk! Because it came to my cell, and I've only ever gotten calls from friends/family on my cell, I picked up. I was volunteering at my daughter's school at the time (NO idea how he got my cell number). I politely said, "Excuse me, but I'm working." He angrily replied, "WELL, I'M WORKING, TOO!" Total jerk. How many people are allowed to take solicitation calls at their places of business? NONE! School is my "place of business." I'm being polite when I say he was a jerk.
This company calls just about once or twice a week. Company is NRG - construction/solar, etc. I asked individual if his company followed the "Do Not Call List" - he said "absolutely" - I stated that I was on the National Do Not Call List and would appreciated my number being taken off his phone list. Then I hung up.
Get a call once a day from these people. They mostly just call and hang up. I have asked over and over to take me off of the list but so far they have not. I am on the do not call registry but I am beginning to think that does not exist because I am seriously getting more and more calls on a daily basis not just from this number but others as well. It is really annoying and I am seriously contemplating canceling my home phone because of this...
