That area code is in CA, the credit union appears to be located in DE, and I do not have an account with them.

Same happened here. Called the number and asks for a 16 digit number from your debit card. Has to be a scam. Stay strong. Someday it might stop.

Received same text message. SEFCU is right down the road from me but I don't have an account there. It's a Pennsylvania bank incorporated in Delaware (to save tax).

I agree! It has to be a scam!  I got a text msg asking me to call US Bank that my immediate attention is needed.  I have no account with them.  BEWARE EVERYONE...
