So you pay for a list of phone numbers.
And you pay for the computer to dial them. And you don't leave a message. So what do they gain from this???????
There is no reason for them to pay for a list of phone numbers. Simply set the are code and exchange and the program dials every number combination possible. They don't want to talk to a machine. They can't scam a machine. And they want to keep their scammers busy with real live people.
Since phone was at hand & I didn’t recognize the #, I picked up & immediately hung up, best way to keep chronically ringing phone from working my nerves. I agree with NJ Granny, “this is no way to live”, DNC should mean DNC!!
