You can use a call blocker. The do not call list will not keep crooks from calling you. That's what makes them crooks. Use a call blocker and don't answer a number you don't recognize. If it turns out to be someone you know, they will leave a message. If you continue to answer random calls from strangers who turn out to be crooks, you're asking for trouble.

I continue to be amazed at the number of people who post on here complaining that the DNC list does not keep these crooks from calling them. I guess they don't know what a crook is. I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. When I google them and it confirms my suspicions that they are scammers, I block them. The calls will never stop coming, but that doesn't mean we have to answer them.
