Wish our govt would truly uphold the rights of private citizens and you illegal callers trying to scam people over the phone when that phone is registered w/o the federal do not call registry. I know what the Fed's do with complaints by consumers but those consumers were lied to by the Fed's as to how it would work. Just saying, it isn't right. I just don't answer the phone anymore if I don't have that calling no. In the contact list.
I picked up. Came from a company with a robocall from a woman who said that I can get my interest rates lowered. [***] them since I've been on the donotcall registry for over a decade.
I did not pick up. As soon as I saw the number, I googled it and saw that it originated in Llano, California. I, too, have been on the do not call registry since it was instituted, and I'm so sick of these idiots wasting my time. How is annoying the snot out of me going to entice me to try your product/service?!?
Call came in from this number before 10 a.m. local time. Am on do-not-call registry as well and do not give out my cell # to many people, yet still get randomly called like this. Did not answer call.
Annoyed that these persist, but as others have said, DNC registry is ignored flagrantly all the time.
