I too just received a call from this number at 1210 hrs this afternoon and no voice-mail message was left. Caller ID displayed 'MED CLINIC' and nothing more. Since I was not expecting a call from nor do I even know anybody from or do business with any organization from a number with the 661 area code, the call was rightfully ignored. Besides, the majority of legitimate businesses / organizations will usually leave a voice-mail message.

Further internet research (including here) has uncovered that there have been numerous complaints filed against this number and many advise that “Spam is Highly Likely” and many are complaints r/e some sort of medical call from an individual (with broken English) asking personal questions r/e possible back and knee pain. An additional site has deemed this number as suspicious in nature and it has been designated as ‘Unsafe’ and as ‘SPAM’.

I have white listed those numbers from callers whom I know and therefore routinely ignore all other calls from unknown callers (especially when they do not bother to leave a voice-mail message) for the two reasons as stated above.

Call came in today at 12:59 pm and was blocked by my blocking service.  Now blocked with my phone provider too.

Call from Med Clinic.  No message.  Number blocked

Call from MED CLINIC on caller id. Didn't leave a message. Now blocked since it's been reported here.

Robo call from "the Brace Hotline."  Falsely claimed to be returning a call from "someone at your number requesting information..."  Spam call.
