Keep getting calls from a man claiming to be Ed Smith, the owner of RLS Construction and selling saw blades. We have repeatedly referred him to our project, and told him our office does not purchase tools or equipment, but he still calls here (and has never contacted our project).
I received a call today and the caller said he was the same person, but voice was different and sounded younger.
Just got several calls from ED SMITH owner of RLS Construction. Wouldnt talk to me wanted to talk to the owner. I informed him I was a part owner (which I am but Im a GIRL). He then told me 'I was rude, stupid, and unprofessional. His family owned bussiness did not need to do bussiness with a company like ours.' Well I have to agree with him on the last point, lol. How do they expect to sale anything acting the way they do?
I just received this same call from ED SMith, he was very shady and wouldn't let me know what the message was regarding. I googled him and his company and the only thing that I am finding is a bunch of these blogs with different telephone numbers all saying the same thing about how rude he is. I made note that next time he calls I will tell him not to call back anymore, and he definitely won't be getting through to my boss. If you're going to be rude and shady, you won't get what you want from me.
"Ed Smith, Owner" of RLS construction 661-310-2545 left a message on our machine for Don. Don is the old owner from about 8+ years ago. Obviously a company from CA that is probably affiliated with those in AZ that are trying to sell 1st aid kits, drill bits, saw blades, extension cords, bungee cords, tarps, tapcons, etc. Always the price is jacked or the volume is large or both. Often they have a bunch of "free" stuff and or tools to give you IF you buy lots of stuff. They are very aggressive and real jerks. Best to hang up on them. They are also good at scamming phone numbers, often local ones (which is illegal, but no one from local law enforcement on up is interested in dealing with it) to try and get you to answer the phone. They are always your buddy and just want to keep you on the phone and call you week after week to sooner or later make a sale.
They are rude and a waste of your time, so do them and yourself a favor and hang up and get back to work.
