I've let this go to message center before but they never leave a message. This time I picked up on the 3rd ring and they hung up. HATE these intrusive calls!
This guy was a jerk and most definetely a scammer. Called to sell me something waswould not identify himself as he thought I was the lowely receptionist,was very rude and when I told him we are not interested he kept harrasing me. I finally hung up and he kept calling back. What a loser!!
I received a call from this 661-328-2939, they said they were fundraising for the California Fire Fighters. The story goes they collect funds and disperse them throughout the state as firefighters families need it. When I asked if they had to join a specific group or company in order to receive the funds the man hung up. I called my local fire dept..... they said they NEVER do phone solicitations and this is a scam. I will call the police dept. as suggested by the fire dept. and turn the number in.
In the past two weeks I must have gotten 7 or 8 calls from this number, all when I wasn't home--and of course no message. This evening "they" called and I answered and they hung up immediately. Was worried that it might be someone I once had two dates with and who kept calling for a while after I told him I didn't want to see him again. Glad I Googled--agree with the person above who said it's a fundraising organization for the Police/Sheriff/firemen.
This is the second time the California Police league has called me asking for money. I answered the first time and told them no I wont donate money. They keep calling.
Received call from this number, was on the line when i picked up but then hung up without saying anything. After reading all of these, isn't this creep in voilation of a law?
