Scammer trying to sell people his overpriced "Senior Alert" products.
High priced, cheaply made knock-off's of the similar sounding "Life Alert" style product. This one just comes with a contract you can't cancel for a number of months AND a monitoring fee that is almost FOUR TIMES that of a reputable service - with NO contract.
Received a call from 661-413-5101, caller ID "ALERT". Not recognizing the number, I let my answering machine pick up the line, but the caller left no message. To me, the caller ID suggests a scammer or telemarketer.
I started getting calls from this number Monday. My Medicare kicked in on Monday. I don't answer calls when I don't recognize the name or number. They don't leave a message.
