Got a voice mail from this number. Very similar to all the other posters. Something about tax fraud or tax evasion. And something very doomsday-ish like "If I don't hear from you or your attorney either all I can do is wish you good luck as this situation unfolds upon you."
Didn't answer, didn't recognize number. Message was about my tax fraud and if they didn't hear from me or my attorny all he could do was wish me luck. I am to contact Gary Morgan??
SCAM!!!! I have received a voicemail form an individual claiming to be Officer Jack Bruno, from the Internal Revenue Service, stating,"If I don't hear from you or your attorney either all I can do is wish you good luck as this situation unfolds upon you." . I called back the number 661-413-5323 today and he had my address and phone number. He proceeded to tell me I have a case number JR1862 about fraud and tax evasion. I knew this was a scam because I pay my taxes. He stated that there is a court hearing tomorrow morning and was unable to give me any information as to what court or anyone else involved.
I proceeded to ask about the court and any other information, and he got very upset and hung up. I called him back and he proceeded to yell at me stating I am in violation and good luck. Didn't like that I called him out stating this is a scam.
The male had a Indian decent accent.
