Scam.....somebody named Cevin (with a C not a K, I was told), called saying the IRS has 3 complaints from people against me. The story didn't even make sense. When you call the number back, you get a message from an Indian accented Lady saying that this is the IRS...and to call back.
PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION! They are obviously a scam from overseas.. the IRS info is in the link below. They will not solicit like the guys from this number!!
I just got a voice mail on my cell phone from an Hindu stating he was Officer Ronnie Cooper. and that he had complaints from a person against me. I called the number back from my office phone and a female voice recordings said it was the IRS and to leave a message. I hung up. Are they that stupid to think we will actually give them any kind of information.
Scam idiots want you to go to 7-11 and buy voucher to send to irs as they have a complaint and at least 3 , do not divulge any personal information and IRS contacts with paper means ,these guys can't even speak American English . Check telephone number and be careful .
Yes, a man with an Indian (Asian) accent called my daughter's cell # and DEMANDED that he was looking for me and that she give him my phone number and insisting that I was being sought by the IRS. TOTAL SCAMMER!!!!!!!!!!
My daughter was very smart and did NOT give this caller any information.
Please be aware. The number apparently was routed through a California area code #.
