I just had someone form this # leave me a messge . Thick accent... soaid he would see me in court if I didnt try to resolve this issue. i was to give him a call back. CRAZY!!!
My daughter received this call today and scared her to death.
This is the exact message that was left for her. It is the same as what other people have posted.
"We have received a complaint against you and for that reasons you will be arrested by the legal officer from your physical address or at your workplace. And if you need any further informations about your legal case then you can just go ahead and get back to us at 661-505-6751. See you into the courthouse"
After she spoke to him, I called him. He said the company that was filing suit was "CashNet", but he could not give us any info on when this supposedly took place. He said he is not the collection agency and that all he had was an affidavit signed by CashNet. He told me I needed to pay $627.00 to keep her from being arrested and if I didn't care enough to take care of it right now it would cost over $6500 after it goes to court. I told him I would call him back.
So we called CashNet and they confirmed that she has never had a loan with them and that it is a SCAM do not pay it.
So I called him back and he asked if I was taking care of it, I told him I wanted to confirm that the company was CashNet, he asked why. I told him I wanted to know the name of the company that wanted to arrest my daughter. He said it was CashNet, so I then told him that he is a fraud and a fake and that CashNet said not to pay him a single penny. I also told him to never ever call her again, I think he hung up before I got the whole sentence out.
