Received a call from a very bad broken English speaking person claiming my computer is being hacked and its been sending reports to their center for over 2 months. wanted me to get on the computer so he could walk me through a fix. "Big Scam" He said his name was Jack, what a laugh. he could not tell me which computer I had. Told him to take a hike
called 5 times in less than 2 hours. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Occasionally I heard an accented voice saying, "hello, hello, hello," I called back and got no answer. I blocked the number.
I just had my landline turned back on yesterday after two years of a cell only life. THEY have called three times in the last 2 hours. No one on the line.
You would think landline companies would find a way to stop this because they are losing customers. I remember why I dumped it in the first place.
They just called twice in the last hour. My assistant answered the first time, with nothing on the other end. When they just called back again, I sent them to voicemail (no voicemail left). The caller ID says "RICHARD RAMEY"
