I just got my first call from this number on my cell. I don't answer calls from #'s I don't know. No msg. I've had a couple similar in the last few months. The last one I started blowing a softball whistle into the phone when I answered. It took a 2-3 tries, but they quit calling. I guess I'll need to find my whistle.
Our phone rings every 2 days 2-3 times a day. once a woman was on the line but did not say why she was calling. another time i answered no one was "there". we are on the federal "no call" list but this doesn't stop the phone calls. since the caller id is OBAMA, i have reported these calls the the FCC and the Obama campaign. most likely the calls, which generate great irritation are a brand of Republican "dirty tricks".
It is illogical that these irritating calls with the id Obama are from the Obama campaign. What is the benefit to Obama if the calls make you mad at him? So more likely the calls are from people who want you to hate Obama.
The number calls me and usually nobody is there when I pick up. My caller ID says "OBAMA".
I called back several times until I actually got someone to answer. And the woman said they are soliciting donations. I hung up. Is it possible that it is a Republican trouble maker group?
