This number was on my AT&T internet accessible voicemail/fax list:

The voicemail length was 4 seconds, and silence.
Earth Justice is a real charity and will always identify themselves. I will verify this number with Earth Justice and update this post tomorrow.
This call is from something called Joner Services Group who claim to be making a call for Earthjustice. The first word of the company name is spoken very rapidly and slurred a bit. They call and hang up when the answering machine clicks on. It is a bad idea to give credit card information over the phone to anyone who has called you.
I called the California office for Earth Justice and they are checking out the number.

Had the caller ID said Earthjustice I would have answered as I am a member.
Call and get on the do not call list, but don't rescind the pledge. Earth Justice is one of the most effective nonprofits in their field - and one of the best at using the money they get effectively for environmental protection.
Also - "EJ" may in fact not be earth justice, as below complaints say this same number tried to sell them other services … they may be a scam. Call your local Earth Justice office and report your complaint and give them this number to check out.
