Who called from 6616702564

just called me - i did not answer and they left no message.  Caller ID said "EJ."  I have supported Earthjustice for many years and will continue to do so.  I have no idea if this was them or not  and i will not answer any calls from numbers i don't know.

This and similar #'s are from a call center. They also have a 661 area code center.
Even if it is from a legitimate charity - which is highly  doubtful, you must NEVER, EVER donate over the phone.
If you actually talk to someone, tell them to send you paperwork or you'll go online to donate and to please remove your # from their database, then block the number.
More than likely you already have a ton of literature from dozens of charities; that don't really need to call.

Also!!! When's the last time you renewed your number on the DNC?  It's only good for 5 yrs - time flies!

DNC doesn't work on charities if you've ever given to the charity.  EJ and JGI are calling me constantly.  I have only a few numbers I can block with my VOIP, so I don't want to waste the numbers, especially since hopefully they'll go away after the beginning of the year, but they are really annoying me!

No message; called back from caller ID; no answer.  Looked up number here, called their office in SF, and they promised to stop sending me postal mail and no more phone calls.  I think this is a great organization - they do terrific work, and I will continue my monthly donation to them.

This number was on my AT&T internet accessible voicemail/fax list:

The voicemail length was 4 seconds, and silence.
Earth Justice is a real charity and will always identify themselves. I will verify this number with Earth Justice and update this post tomorrow.
