This number called me aeound 6PM this evening, claiming to be a rep from PETA. Be clear, people: PETA does not cold call non-members, and rarely, if ever, calls its members, especially not to ask for money. It is not how the charity operates. This caller is claiming to be from PETA, and is trying to get your information. Do not say a word to them. Hang up. Spammers and scammers do not have a "Do Not Call" List. They are operating illegally and could not care less if they inconvenience you if they can get credit card info from the next person they call. They cast a very wide net, and use the names of real, reputable charities to fool you. Don't fall for it. Don't even answer uknown numbers, and block them immediately.
This is the third number Peta has used to call us. I blocked them, but they just keep calling. What, do they think calling incessantly makes us want to pick up the phone? Idiots! I told my mom to cancel her membership just on the principle of their harassing phone calls.
Peta has never had our phone number because we never give it out. I work nights and apparently they seem to think that it is funny to call a house that has never supported them or given them their number just to wake me up. I have asked them to remoe their number off their call list. We will see what happens. They have called 4 times in the last week and no one has been on the line until this last call today.
Poor little selfish babies, oh I got a phone call, grow up, get a life. How about you dumb [***] try this now read this slowly so u understand. Here we go "I'm not interested" then hang up. Oye vey is that so fu@&ing hard.
I think PETA needs to help you dummies out ur dumber then the animals.
