Got this call for the first time today. Number listed from Taft, CA. I do not normally answer numbers I do not know. Message left was part of a recording about lowering my interest rate, but no mention of the company name. Based on this search I have blocked the number from my cell phone.
On "Do Not Call" list, yet I get this Robo call. Message about decreasing the interest rate on my credit card. But, I don't HAVE a credit card, not one. I gave up spending money I don't have, long ago. If it wasn't for severely disabled family member, I wouldn't have a phone at all. I hate the thing! In the past, I went 8 years without a phone and did not miss it a bit. I DID have one, just for the convenience (long before cell phones). Then one day, AT&T called and offered to decrease my phone bill by a third, because I only made/received one call a week. Then they charge me $68 for a "Change of Service"!!! At a local Mall, AT&T, had a "Phone Store", selling their "new" Touch Tone and Designer telephones. I tossed the phone I was paying $2 a month to rent, over the counter and told them "where" to stick the bill. I only had a phone re-installed, when I started a new job that required I be available for "emergencies". IF I could get a good Cell signal where I live, I'd get rid of the land line, today!
Oh, no they don't, called my cell phone, I never pick up as call to my cell from someone I don't know. No, no, no, these people so need to find something legitimate to do with their time.
Caller got pissed off when I would not give any info. I kept telling him to just lower all my cards over and over. He then gave up and hung up the phone. POS dirtbag!!
