Caller ID'd as cell phone 661 774 4341 CA. I did not answer and no message was left. This number will now be blocked. I use *60#, wait for the prompt, then add number to be blocked, then # sign to complete.
Caller ID says: Cell Phone CA 1-661-774-4341 3:00 PM Saturday January 18, 2014. The time for me is Eastern Time Zone. Used my phone company’s *67 privacy feature and called the number back about 10:30 P.M. (Eastern). Got a female voiced recorded message that repeated over and over: “If you are not interested in receiving any future calls about our special promotions and would like to be placed on our Do Not Call List please press 1 now.” Voice did not identify any personal or company name or promotion.
We received a call from the telephone number a day or so ago. They did not leave a message. Caller ID said "Alert". I tried calling them back (using the *67 prefix), and I reached a recording saying that my call could not be completed as dialed. The recording did not have a tag so it originated from a Bell Central Office as opposed to a Bell Tandem Office.
