Caller ID'd as cell phone 661 774 4341 CA. I did not answer and no message was left. This number will now be blocked. I use *60#, wait for the prompt, then add number to be blocked, then # sign to complete.
Call was on our Caller ID when we got home tonight (Monday 1/20/14; MLK Day). NO Message left, but like others, Caller ID said "ALERT" with this number.
If this is LIFE ALERT or some such other company, then they are ILLEGALLY telemarketing. (Not surprised, they tried to rip us off in the late 80's with a FRANCHISE SCAM.) If its not even a (semi) 'legitimate' company, then its a TOTAL SCAM.
