Diane, a dumber than dirt female called me this morning, identifying herself only as "California Design." I could hear boiler room (aka call center noise in the background) and, based on her awkward speech pattern, she might have had someone there coaching her. In any event, I asked for their phone number (part of the information a caller is required to provide.) Instead of providing this required information, she continued on with her spiel. When I asked a second time for the phone number, she simply grunted "uh huh" and disconnected. I will be filing a complaint with the FCC for violation of the Do Not Call list.
They said they were from the California Design Center and were working with some of my neighbors on home improvement projects. They wanted to know if I had the need for any home improvement projects. I told them no and hung up on them.
