Get calls every few weeks on my cell, and so does my wife. They know what we drive and said that my vehicles "aren't covered any longer" and I needed to get coverage. When I told them that I have full coverage on both my cars, they went on to say that it was for warranty. I told them that I purchased extended warranty on my wife's car, the guy got upset and said that what I purchased wasn't good enough (manufacture's warranty isn't good enough!?). I finally hung up...still get calls, but if you call the number back it is a non-working number...so I'm guessing these [***] are working in some third world country that think it's ok to try to cheat people.
A side thought...I thought people in southern Asia believed in Karma...so why would you cheat people all your life? Do you have a yearning desire to be a cockroach in your next life or something?
The "do not call" list does work. However, these guys usually call from foreign countries and don't care about the DNC registry. They are NOT from Maryland...if you try to call them back, their numbers are non-working numbers. Just block the numbers or quit answering.
