When I get these types of calls from unfamiliar area codes I let it ring until it's done then block them. If it's a local area code and I answer it I just say f#$k you repeatedly until the recording is done, and I don't seem to get calls for at least two months. My theory is that the calls are being recorded and phone numbers are shared or sold so if I act like a psycho they won't waste their time with me. If they want to call the cops I say bring it on because my phone records show that they called me and I never call them (if you could even get through) so screw them.
keep getting calls,,from this number,,and they don't leave a message, finally answered it (after the 5th time) said they were a Credit Company trying to lower my amount on my card. Told them I don't even have a card,,I am retired on a fixed income,,why would I have a Credit Card,,,they hung up on me,,,then called again,,,,PLEASE HELP ME MAKE THEM STOP,,,,,
In the past few months I've gotten calls from 3 numbers the I.D. displayed as 'CONSMR ADVOCATE'' with the same recorded message so I'm guessing it is safe to say they are all from the same fraktards. The numbers are 2342170305, 3022121773 & 6679300346.
