I got the same call as K. A man with a heavy southern account said they were "sending my file to the county today". I've gotten calls from the same number at least twice a day for several weeks now. Very upsetting. He never says my name of what kind of "file" they're sending or what company he works for. Very intimidating and scary.
I got a call this morning from this number. Said charges are being filed against me in court for unpaid payday loans. Funny thing I never had a payday loan. So I told the [***] I am a police detective and to please go ahead and file in court. I intend to look up the number get the address and have the police in that city pay them a visit. [***] with me, I [***] back.
Same as people above! got very scary voicemails from a man that said he had a case with my name and social security number, decided to call back and see what was going on, a lady answered, (did not answer with the name of a company), she said they have a client, equity finance, i had an unpaid debt from jan. 2015 and they were sending my file to the county today, but she wanted to "work it out" outside of court, and make a payment today. after i tried to get what company and how much i suposedly owed money too, she would never tell me, so i kind of got upset with her, then she said she wasnt going to listen to me anymore and that i can enjoy my 180 days behind plexiglass. either a scam, or this is complete harassment!
