Miles Howard leaving messages on my cell phone and is also leaving harassing messages on my parents land line he claims that it's an urgent matter and that there has been a complaint filed against me in the state of Georgia. I live in Texas. He said that this is an urgent matter and it needs to be resolved immediately or else! my mother called him back and asked him not to ever call the landline again and after they hung up the phone he immediately call back the phone number he was extremely rude and would not take no for an answer. I have received emails and other phone calls in the past stating that I will go to jail if I do not pay money immediately but when I asked for proof of the payday loan they refused to give me any information. This person also claimed that they were sending the police out to arrest me. I called my local police department and they said that it was a scam. We don't appreciate him harassing us.
A man calling himself "Miles Howard" called claiming to work for HBC services and told me I took out a payday loan. He was trying to get me to pay over $1,000. He said he was collecting on behalf of parent company Twin Bluffs Financial.
DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY INFORMATION! THIS IS A SCAM!
Check your credit report and bank accounts for any fraudulent activity and report your interaction with this man. I reported this to The Georgia Governor's Office of Consumer Protection- (404) 651-8600, to the Federal Trade Commission- (877) 382-4357, and the National Fraud Fraud Center- www.fraud.org.
Yes the same man been calling me out the blue saying I money, first he said I owe $5,000 in a payday loan. He stated that his name is Miles Howard a lawyer looking to collect the debt from me. I just laugh at him on the phone I told him this is harrassment and I have no knowledge of this complaint. Furthermore if you were a lawyer you would know couple of key factors, he couldn't give me any information about who I actually owe. or tried to make installement plans. Then I simply told him if I was being sued from this Company HBC Service Inc. why haven't I been served any papers and how could you have any rights to threaten me in the state of NEW YORK when you are calling from the state of Georgia? Which I have ever been to that state at all. Now the man Howard got scared when I told him he was being recorded and file a police report on him for fraud, harrassement, embezzlement. Then I knew for a fact he was fake when he pull up information on my husband and sister which had nothing to do with what he was trying to say he was.
Yep, This 678-369-0839 number has been calling me also saying fraud and court if I don't pay...I called BBB and they said to never give out any info over the phone. This Miles Howard scam artist needs to get a real job instead of taking hard earned money from us working society or he needs to be locked up and far away from any phone.
Same man just called me with the same story i had taken out a payday loan and was being sued on fraud by check and i need to contact him immediately. He also left a (800) number for me to call him back on and even gave my case number. I will give it a go mardi on what you said that he is being recorded...etc. he is calling me on my job and it is harassment. this has got to stop.
