As you had a prior relationship with AT&T you'll have to call them to get them to stop. If you really can't be bothered, because they'll just try and sell you stuff, send them a registered letter, with return. Yes, it'll cost you a few bucks, but you'll get results & proof (to sue them) if they call again.
